Chief Tunno departed from New York on Thursday to bring home the newest addition to the fleet. Our 1999 Pierce Mini-Pumper was purchased today from the Beaver Creek Metro Division in Beaver Creek, Colorado, which is located west of Vail, Colorado. The truck was found to be in an almost new condition and will be a perfect fit for our Company.
After a short scenic drive through the Rocky Mountain National Park, the truck will make the almost 2000 mile journey to its new community.
The truck is ready to hit Route 80 in Cheyenne, WY on Sunday morning and head for home.
The new truck made it home safely without any issues. The truck will be outfitted with a Foam Pro Class A foam system, foam tank, booster reel, generator and lighting. It will also be sent to Scotty Signs to have our company graphics placed on the truck. We anticipate the new Mini-Pumper to be inservice in the next month or so.
