At 17:32hrs Station 34 was dispatched to an ice rescue call on the Basha Kill State Park. A dog had gone through the ice just off the D&H Canal Tow Path in the area of Stonefield Lane. Firefighters we able to remove the dog from the ice, administer oxygen, warm the dog so its owner could bring him to the vet to get checked.
